Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Your resume file — uploaded by you to power the tailoring service
• Email address — collected when you request your tailored resume
• Job description text — pasted by you, used only to tailor your resume
• Marketing consent — whether you opted in to receive job-search tips
• Usage data — match scores, timestamps, generation status (no personal content)

2. How long we keep it

• Uploaded resume file — automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload
• Generated documents (tailored PDF/DOCX) — expire and are deleted after 30 days
• Email address & consent — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Usage logs — retained for up to 12 months for analytics, then purged

3. How we use it

• To generate your tailored resume and deliver it by email
• To send job-search tips if you opted in
• To improve the service (aggregate analytics only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

We use the Anthropic API to process resume text for tailoring. Text is transmitted securely and used only for this purpose; it is not used to train Anthropic models. Email delivery is handled by our SMTP provider.

5. Your rights

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion — request that your email and any generated files be deleted
• Unsubscribe — reply “unsubscribe” to any email we send

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie for the admin dashboard. No tracking or advertising cookies are used on the public-facing site.
